Stevens, Brinkley Make Weight For Fight

Curtis “Showtime” Stevens (21-2, 15KO) and Jesse Brinkley (34-5, 22KO) both weighed-in today in anticipation of their upcoming super middleweight showdown tomorrow night in the main event on ESPN’s “Friday Night Fights” from the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno, NV. The bout is an Official IBF eliminator for the number two ranking in the super middleweight division. Also at stake will be Brinkley’s WBC USNBC super middleweight title. The card, promoted by Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing and Let’s Get It On Promotions, will also feature live coverage of Star Boxing’s up and coming welterweight prospect, Raymond “Tito” Serrano (11-0, 6KO) taking on Ronnie Warrior Jr. (13-2-1, 4KO) in the co-feature. The card is promoted by Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing and Let’s Get It On Promotions. ESPN’s “Friday Night Fights” will begin live coverage of the event at 7pm PT (10pm ET) with Serrano vs. Warrior. The card will take place at the Show Theatre inside the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino. Doors open at 6pm PT (9pm ET) with the first bout scheduled for 7pm PT (10pm ET).
